Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and skilled Dispatcher to join our team. This will be for the dayshift dispatch position. The ideal candidate is highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

Monitor drivers working hours and equipment availability

Coordinate and manage the most efficient loads to remain cost-effective

Scheduling pick ups and drop offs

Answering emails and phone calls pertaining to loads

Proactively address problems and suggest solutions

Scanning in POD's

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED

Previous experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar position

Excellent typing and data entry skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects

Ability to work well under pressure
