Pittsburgh Transportation Group is seeking a full-time Dispatcher/CSR to manage the day-to-day dispatch operations for our driver fleet. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of fleet operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service, and supporting both drivers and maintenance staff. The shift for this position is from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Dispatcher/CSR, you will supervise the shuttle service, handle vehicle assignments, manage charter reservations, and assist in scheduling fleet maintenance. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of services while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily shuttle operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Dispatch services according to schedule, adhering to contract terms, company policies, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Assist with scheduling and make adjustments as necessary to meet operational needs.
- Address driver questions, concerns, and issues in a timely, professional manner.
- Manage and report on operational and payroll data.
- Assign vehicles based on contracts and coordinate with maintenance staff for necessary repairs or upkeep.
- Provide information and pricing details to current and potential customers.
- Input and update reservation requests as needed.
- Support Safety & Training staff in monitoring driver compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
- Address customer feedback, including complaints and commendations.
- Perform any additional tasks as needed to support daily operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education : High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience : Minimum of 2 years’ experience in transportation dispatching, preferred.
