Display Fabrication Technician – Ontario, CA

We are seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Display Fabrication Technician to support the production of custom displays and related components. This role involves building display units, operating machinery, installing lighting and graphics, and assisting with the construction of cases and various project elements. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both tools and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and assemble display components according to specifications

• Operate shop machinery and equipment safely and efficiently

• Install lighting, graphics, and hardware into display units

• Assist in building and finishing custom cases

• Perform light assembly and occasional packaging work

• Use hand tools including drills, tape measures, and various shop tools

• Read measurements accurately and work from instructions/drawings

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Preferred Skills & Background

Candidates with the following experience will stand out:

• CNC or milling machine operation

• Large machine operation

• General manufacturing experience

• Mechanical or machine maintenance background

• Competency with computers, machine interfaces, or production software

• Ability to read and interpret measurements, especially with tape measures

• Familiarity working with wood, plastics, or machined parts

Requirements

• Steel-toed shoes are required

• Ability to stand for long periods

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on rare occasions

• Comfort working in a production/warehouse environment

You should be proficient in:

• Tape Measure Reading
