Type: Full-Time | Work Directly With Ownership & Buyers
Department: Retail Merchandising & Inventory
Walter Knoll Florist is more than just flowers — we’re a St. Louis tradition rooted in creativity, service, and excellence. We’re looking for a talented, hands-on Lead Display Merchandiser to join our dynamic retail merchandising team. In this highly visible role, you'll work directly with the owners and lead buyers to bring our merchandise to life across our retail and production spaces.
This is a key leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and loves rolling up their sleeves to make a space shine. If you're organized, proactive, and passionate about visual presentation, this is your chance to join a team where your eye for detail and operational skills will truly make a difference.
Set and refresh eye-catching displays that align with seasonal themes and buyer direction — you're the one making it all look beautiful and shoppable.
Coordinate incoming shipments, verify packing lists, and ensure every product is tracked, labeled, and stored correctly — you’ll be the go-to for product readiness.
Keep stock organized for designers and staff, monitor backstock levels, and assist in prepping for high-volume product runs.
Ensure every display area, stockroom, and workstation is clean, organized, and ready to impress — you’re not just merchandising, you’re elevating the brand.
Strong leadership and organizational skills — you know how to manage priorities and keep things moving.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, using ladders, and being on your feet most of the day.
Experience in retail merchandising, inventory coordination, or stockroom management is a plus.
A team player with initiative — you notice what needs to be done and jump in to do it.
Computer savvy enough to use labeling and inventory systems.
An eye for color, layout, or seasonal presentation — especially if you’ve worked with floral, gift, or lifestyle products.
Previous experience in retail, warehouse, display setup or creative merchandising.
An interest in learning more about purchasing and retail logistics — we love cross-training our team members.
