    Job Description

    Join our ambitious team at LGC as a Distribution Associate and contribute to our world class operations! To perform this job successfully, you will need to adhere to the following essential functions:

    • Package products under supervisor’s mentorship following SOPs and written instructions that meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements
    • Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials following SOPs and written instructions that meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements
    • Assign lot numbers in Microsoft Access database
    • Ensure production supplies and inventory are accurately labelled and stored
    • Accurately print and apply labels to packaging materials, both manually and with automated equipment
    • Process domestic and international shipments with the support of a mentor
    • Participate in physical inventory activities, such as routine cycle counts, to maintain inventory integrity
    • Potential handling of dangerous goods items
    • Support distribution activities as needed
    • Diligently learn and follow the requirements of the ISO 13485 quality management system
    • Adhere to company Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) policy
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent experience
    • Prior experience with material handling and preparation of finished product for shipment
    • Strong dedication to quality and continuous improvement
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)
    • Experience working with information technology, including database software and FedEx

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience with material handling and preparation of finished product for shipment in a manufacturing or biotech organization
    • UPS shipping systems experience
    • Demonstrated experience with dangerous goods handling
