    This program is a 10-week full-time opportunity that starts on June 5th 2023 and will end on August 2023.

    About this business area:

    At CVS Health, our supply chain goals are to provide outstanding service to our customers – while meeting their healthcare needs and making their overall shopping experience as easy as possible. Operating an efficient and effective supply chain is key to achieving this goal so that we provide our customers and patients with a superior shopping experience at our stores. This position will work within the operational excellence organization focused on improving the operations at our distributions centers. The team is founded in engineering principles but act as problem solvers for the site to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost for the business.

    You will work on and lean (and not limited to):

    • Gain experience with CVS Health Operational Excellence

    • Drive an initiative that demonstrates decision-making, communication, engineering principles, and technical skills

    • Key responsibilities include analyzing data, problem solving, project managing and executing tasks, and collaborating with various internal partners

    • Assist with work streams on new processes, opportunities, and initiatives that delivery improvements to safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

    • Learn fundamentals around lean manufacturing and DC operations

    PAY RANGE

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    • Minimum: 17.00

    • Maximum: 27.16

    Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Meet educational requirements (see education section)

    • Applicants must be currently living within 50 miles of the distribution center and be able to travel to/from the location each day

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Demonstrated leadership experience. Examples include: active roles in student or social organization activities, sports, or school or work-related projects

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Have an interest in obtaining full-time position within CVS Health upon graduationWork visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 Visa programs.

    EDUCATION

    • Be currently pursuing a bachelors degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or similar); preferred concentration or coursework in Supply Chain or Computer Science

    • Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2023 and August 2024
