    Job Description

    District 19 Community Services Board (D19CSB) is seeking a qualified professional to work as the Supervised Living Administrator. Essential duties of this position are to lead and support efficient, comprehensive, and effective services at Ellis Square.  To provide clinical administration, clinical oversight and direct supervision to the Mental Health Skill Building (MHSB) staff/program and Residential Specialists at Ellis Square Supervised Living Program, in Dinwiddie, VA.  To ensure compliance and quality of services in implementation and on-going programming for Transitional Housing for individuals being discharged from state facilities per agreement with DBHDS.

    Master's degree in Human Services Field.

    Must meet criteria for Qualified Mental Health Professional-Adult per DBHDS requirements.  Home visits required.

    Preferred candidate will have experience working with SMI and SA population; counseling/crisis intervention. Experience working in community based Mental Health and case management services.

    Preferred candidate will have:

    Knowledge in human personality, growth and development; seriously mentally ill populations; substance abuse population; diagnosis/therapy techniques of the SMI and dually diagnosed; counseling/therapy techniques (individual, group and family); mental health skills building services, case management services; documentation; available community resources and service delivery systems.

    Knowledge of the laws of confidentially.

    Skills in written, oral and interpersonal communications.

    Ability to exercise sound judgment and demonstrate initiative.

    Ability to sustain cooperative/effective working relationship with D19 and non-D19 personnel. Knowledge of the laws of confidentially. Basic computer skills.

    Licensed Mental Health Provider preferred (i.e. LPC, LCSW).

    Certified Preadmission Screener preferred.

    Prefer previous supervisory experience.

    Driving agency vehicle to conduct agency business.

    Ability to make sound clinical judgment, ability to manage a caseload of 20.

    Periodic lifting of up to 20 lbs.

    Valid Virginia Driver's license with acceptable driving record.

    This is a grade 213, full time position.

    Starting Salary: $50,305.00 annually
