    Job Description

    We seek an experienced accounting professional to support a large publicly-traded cybersecurity client that has a global footprint. This position would be part of a long-term contract (approximately 1 year) with the possibility of converting to permanent. The ideal candidate is a team player, with excellent interpersonal skills, that also thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage all accounting transactions
    • Prepare budget forecasts
    • Publish financial statements in time
    • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
    • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
    • Ensure timely bank payments
    • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
    • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
    • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
    • Audit financial transactions and documents
    • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
    • Comply with financial policies and regulations

     

    WE’RE EXCITED ABOUT YOU IF YOU HAVE

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
    • 3+ years of accounting experience
    • CPA is a plus
    • BIG 4 Experience a plus
    • You're a details person with a penchant for preparing meticulously accurate work
    • Working knowledge of NetSuite accounting system preferred
    • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
    • Advanced knowledge of PC computer environments with skill in applications such as Microsoft Office, Excel being your secret favorite
    • Strong action/results orientation with the ability to work independently and be self-motivated and proactive in achieving individual/team objectives
    • You have familiarity with Workday and Oracle ERP
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to articulate views convincingly
    • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across the organization
    • Ability to be adaptable/flexible and operate effectively in an unstructured environment
