Our client, a top-tier law firm, is actively seeking a dynamic individual to lead their electronic billing team/function. As the Electronic Billing Manager, you'll take charge of overseeing electronic billing functions across the firm. Your role as a strategic leader involves ensuring the eBilling team's efficient operation and conducting regular reviews of internal processes for optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the e-billing system, encompassing the review of client billing data, auditing invoice statuses, and ensuring compliance with billing guidelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for eBilling issues, escalating them within the team.
- Provide daily supervision, ensuring adherence to work hours and department policies.
- Demonstrate expertise in navigating the e-Bill Hub dashboard.
- Champion innovative ideas, backed by data-driven statistics, to boost team efficiency.
- Collaborate with billing and collection teams to address issues affecting e-bill processes.
- Lead the onboarding of e-billing clients, delivering comprehensive training on software platforms, policies, and procedures.
- Direct periodic maintenance of each e-Billing client’s guidelines within the firm’s e-Billing Hub solution.
- Ensure timely resolution of e-bill rejections, minimizing write-offs and revenue losses.
- Act as a liaison to staff and attorneys, resolving firm-wide e-bill issues.
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of proven experience in eBilling, collaborating with vendors and insurance carriers
- Supervisory experience
- Previous experience in a law firm
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
