Position Details:

• Title: Accounting Manager

• Type: Full-time, Exempt
• Salary: $115,000

Role and Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the accounting team to excellence.
• Streamline the month-end close process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Work closely with cross-functional teams for integrated financial strategies.
• Prepare for future growth into roles like Assistant Controller.
• Embrace Microsoft Business Central for seamless accounting operations.
• Focus on SOP standardization and month-end close optimizations.
• Engage in long-term projects to boost profitability and improve reporting mechanisms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in significant accounting roles.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Mastery in full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, and Month-End Close.
  
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset ready to tackle significant responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Business Central.
