  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager to lead the AR operations at our Client's North America Shared Service Center. This position is critical for overseeing the AR functions from our remote sites, managing the AR team, and ensuring top-notch service delivery across multiple business units.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as the primary leader and expert for all accounts receivable processes, including managing close checklists, resolving errors, and maintaining performance metrics and reporting standards.
    • Spearhead initiatives to enhance AR processes by implementing continuous improvement and efficiency measures.
    • Oversee and mentor a remote team, fostering development through productivity assessments, quality monitoring, and the setting of SMART goals.
    • Manage and lead a team of 4-6 direct reports remotely, ensuring high performance, development, and adherence to company values and goals.
    • Maintain a customer satisfaction focus within the team, ensuring all members are well-trained and capable of delivering superior AR services.
    • Adapt and stay proficient with evolving technologies and ensure alignment with accounting standards, SOX controls, and internal policies.
    • Develop and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), service-level agreements (SLAs), and ensure effective communication of performance metrics to leadership.
    • Serve as the key liaison between the AR team and technical groups, including Oracle implementation and IT teams, to streamline processes and address system issues.
    • Manage transactional communications and risk escalations, maintain AR Aging accuracy, and coordinate cross-functional reviews to uphold policy effectiveness.
    • Handle credit assessments, bad debt evaluations, and support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and participating in system testing.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance client relationships and drive satisfaction, while also identifying system and process improvements through emerging technologies.

    Qualifications:

    • 4-7 years of experience in Accounting or Finance with a strong leadership background in managing accounts receivable functions.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Oracle Cloud ERP is advantageous.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills, capable of managing complex tasks within tight deadlines.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage remote teams effectively.
    • Experience in a SOX-compliant environment and familiarity with negotiation and conflict resolution are desirable.
