    District Partners has been engaged by a top tier law firm who is seeking a revenue finance leader to manage its significant clients. 

    The successful candidate will oversee billing, collections, and eBilling processes for designated clients, collaborating strategically while maintaining attention to detail. They serve as the primary point of contact for partners and clients, resolving issues to ensure timely invoice processing and payment, with high visibility to senior leadership.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Foster and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration and service levels; including regular meetings with partners to discuss billing and collections, and sharing feedback within the team as needed.
    • Manage internal accounting processes for key clients, from implementation to budgeting, accruals, and matter management, in collaboration with internal accounting teams.
    • Ensure timely posting of bills in compliance with outside counsel guidelines (OCGs), addressing redlined entries to optimize accounts receivable collections.
    • Monitor unsubmitted bills, address rejections and reductions promptly, and follow the client's appeal process for appropriate entries.
    • Identify and address possible delays in bill submission, including communication with billing partners and escalation to the Director of Revenue or Chief Financial Officer for non-responses.
    • Conduct monthly reviews of client accounts, informing the Director of Revenue of critical billing matters.
    • Collaborate with Pricing and BIC teams to ensure compliance with client requirements, rates, and billing procedures outlined in engagement letters, including eBilling.
    • Review outside counsel guidelines, assist in onboarding clients with eBilling, and ensure timely invoice submissions.
    • Coordinate client feedback with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and successful information delivery.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 5+ years experience in all areas of legal billing to include, collections and eBilling
    • Current knowledge of industry best practices
    • Experience working closely with eBilling vendors
    • Possess extensive knowledge of client accounting, collection procedures, and up-to-date accounting concepts, trends, and techniques.
    • Ability to work extended and/or weekend hours, as required
    • Ability to travel, as required
