    JOB TITLE: SALESFORCE FUNCTIONAL ANALYST

    DIRECT-HIRE PERMANENT POSITION BY OUR CLIENT

    LOCAL TO IRVINE, CA ONLY

    We have an immediate need for a Salesforce Business Analyst who understands software development for commercial and custom CRM systems related to sales and the customer lifecycle. We're looking for talented, collaborative and innovative person to be the business/technical subject matter expert for Salesforce application solutions and integrations. The company is rolling out Salesforce nationally.

    As a Salesforce Business Analyst you will work closely with clients, the business, the development team (local and offshore), vendors, technical support and end-users on a new strategic customized enterprise Salesforce platform.

    This fast growing company owns multiple lines of business. Each business has its own internal operations with a shared services model for IT, Marketing, Finance and HR.

    You will be the primary interface to business users, plus work closely with the SalesForce development team to understand and implement business processes, workflows, and information requirements of business units.

    While this is a large organization, the office culture is a start-up in feel and highly entrepreneurial. This is a fast-paced environment with quick software deployments and an aggressive schedule.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Salesforce Functional Analyst will:

    • Be the primary point of contact for Salesforce across the business.

    • Work closely business stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear and complete solutions including designs and specifications for the development team

    • Work closely with the Salesforce Architect and Project Manager to own the Salesforce function including administration and establishing processes for Salesforce

    • Set up and administer Salesforce communities

    • Facilitate business process design and improvements, as related to Salesforce

    • Understand and work with clients on CRM assessment, while being cognitive of company's Supply Chain and Operations initiatives

    • Work with development team to provide clarification and validate assumptions. Ensure that the development team understands designs and specifications , with minimal risk of rework

    • Collaborate with QA teams in testing and validating delivered solutions in various stages of maturity and completeness, including early proof-of-concept versions, pre-production User Acceptance Testing and post-implementation validation

    • Provide advanced troubleshooting and subject matter expertise for escalated user support requests

    • Provide subject matter expertise

    • Draft content for end user communication and training

    • Provide creative problem solving, quick fixes, and workarounds when necessary to sustain business operations, while the development of permanent solutions is in progress

    • Provide thought leadership in CRM best practices, general business analysis, and business process enablement.

    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum 5+ years' experience in Salesforce
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as Sr. CRM Business Analyst on working on complete systems and applications, with responsibility for the design and specification of holistic solutions
    • Minimum 3 years of experience working with large scale SALES FORCE enterprise projects including KEY FOCUS WORKFLOWS: LEAD TO OPPORTUNITY, CUSTOMER JOURNEY (EMAILS AND TEXT) AND CALENDARING
    • ABILITY TO SET UP, MAINTAIN AND MONITOR SALESFORCE COMMUNITIES
    • Expertise in a diverse variety of IT and Salesforce specific process improvement concepts, practices, and procedures.
    • Deep understanding of CRM best practices and solutions
    • Knowledge of supply chain, sales, order management, and procurement business processes
    • Understanding and practical experience of system development methodologies and best practices (SDLC, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrids)
    • Ability to use SQL for basic queries and stored procedures
    • STRONG EXCEL SKILLS for data analysis and ad-hoc reporting
    • Experience using Confluence, JIRA, mockup, design, and diagramming tools
    • Experience working with hybrid (on-site and offshore) development teams

    OTHER

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to create systematic and consistent requirement specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.
    • Experience and understanding of SDLC processes and Agile / Scrum principles
    • Ensure training to meet the needs of the end-users.
    • Ability to organize and manage work effectively, react quickly, switch focus but keep on task and target
    • Ability to ask clear and pointed questions and ability to seek/ pursue answers
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability
    • Good documentation skills.
    • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and business.
    • Strong interpersonal and outstanding communication skills

    CERTIFICATIONS

    At a minimum, must have Salesforce Certifications including:

    • Certified Salesforce Administrator
    • Certified Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant
