Location: New York, NY with potential for remote work if candidate maintains permanent residence in Boston, Dallas, Houston, Miami, New York, Princeton, Silicon Valley or Washington, D.C.
Salary: $110,000-125,000 annually
The Engineer, Business Development Systems will focus on the technical operation of Sitecore websites, to ensure reliable operation of software deployments, and provide support to business development operations.
Primary Responsibilities and/or Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with implementation vendor and infrastructure team to design and build up Sitecore server farms, including development, testing, content authoring, and public facing servers.
- Design and develop Sitecore presentations, including interactive elements.
- Participate in the design of user experience, navigation, information architecture, and taxonomy.
- Act as platform SME in data interface design with other enterprise systems.
- Monitor and manage server performance and responses.
- Configure Sitecore workflows, securities, rules, and actions.
- Configure and interoperate web analytics, including Sitecore and Google Analytics.
- Provide training to content editors.
- Any other responsibilities or special projects as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability:
- Solid understanding of programming and computer science foundations.
- Experience with designing relational databases and optimizing database structure for performance and/or maintainability and the ability to design and optimize stored procedures.
- Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
- Passion for building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of sound business practices and a proven track record of anticipating and exceeding client expectations.
- Must be motivated with a focus on team performance.
- Exposure to project management experiences is a plus.
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
