_JOB DESCRIPTION: Skills: DevOps, CI/CD, GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Selenium Well-versed with modern Technology solutions and their pros/cons -Cloud services (Azure), Containers, CI-CD Tools, Microsoft Technologies, Microservices, Serverless architectures Proficient and competent skills in code/scripting with one or more of the following languages - Python, Groovy, C#, Java, Javascript Good understanding of Micro-Services, SOA principles and surrounding technologies (such as containers; especially Kubernetes and Docker) Good working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Delivery concepts and tools such as Jenkins / Bamboo/ Git or equivalent Good working knowledge with configuration management and automation tools such as Chef, Terraform etc Good working knowledge of software build tools (Maven, MS Build), artefact repository managers (e.g. Nexus, Artifactory) as well aspackaging tools (RPMs, MSI) Good working experience on Automated deployment using tools such as Octopus Deploy* Good working knowledge of software versioning tools including GIT,Subversion Familiarity of ALM Octane and other productivity tools Multi Operating System knowledge: Windows, Linux OS services Good networking, TCP/IP knowledge and security awareness Understanding of application deployment and release management bestpractices including A/B, Canary, Dark Launches  Hands-on DevOps experience in enterprise organizations working with Agile Software development, infrastructure and cross-functional operations teams Effective cross-functional leadership skills: working with engineering and operational teams to ensure systems are secure, scalable, and reliable Lead and participate in the architectural design of features early in the development cycle, influencing it to drive quality and adherence tothe specification Good understanding of various Software Delivery Life Cycle principles and be able to pre-empt and evolve dependencies along a delivery pipeline (from requirements through to defects) Proven track record of detailed design and accurate solutions estimations (including areas such as scalability, performance, availability, reliability and security) Development styles (e.g. BDD/TDD) Compatible versioning and branching strategies Quality Engineering practices and principles Automation and Configuration management Cloud consumption and economics  Excellent soft skills particularly in client and stakeholder expectation management Ability to review deployment and operational environments, i.e., execute initiatives to reduce failure, troubleshoot issues across the entire infrastructure stack, expanding monitoring capabilities, and managing technical operations High levels of ownership, a make it work first-time work ethic, and ability to work with nearshore teams to evangelize CI/CD Strong automation skills (tool agnostic) and the ability to drive initiatives to automate processes  Work with Engineering teams, advocate development styles, testing principles, software methodologies and team structures to support the delivery of software using Agile Guide customers and colleagues through the process of tool selection and usage Understand customer business goals and reflect these appropriately through delivery models and proposals Work closely and integrate with internal practices in Infrastructure, Development, Testing and Application Management to underpin and promote DevOps principles and culture Support other customer functions such as compliance and Information Security in the adoption of Continuous Deployment and Continuous Delivery over documentation and Change Control and in environments up to and including Production Proactively review solutions and propose improvements and strategic direction, anticipating client goals Should be responsible for the governance of the entire DevOps Program and the associated DevOps matrixes Build scalable architecture that imbibes the industry standards on various key performance indicators for DevOps _
