    Job Description

    DRG is seeking a highly detail-oriented, analytical, innovative, and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic growing team. Under the general supervision of the Compensation and Benefits Manager, the HRIS and Benefits Analyst will assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR and Benefit systems ensuring data integrity, seamless integrations, and maximizing operational efficiencies. The HRIS and Benefits Analyst will become the subject matter expert in HR and benefit data providing support in HR and total rewards initiatives, completing ad-hoc and compliance reporting, as well as champion our people first culture.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Provides analytical and data support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HRIS/Payroll and benefit systems by troubleshooting, gathering data requirements, designing test plans, and conducting user acceptance.

    · Proactively audits HRIS/benefit data and workflows to ensure data integrity, assisting in mapping out process improvement opportunities, and driving simple to moderate complex scope projects.

    · Collaborates effectively with the IT and HR team in supporting the company’s technology roadmap, maintaining the HR document repository, validating security profiles and role-based permissions for HR related systems, and assists in documenting HRIS work instructions.

    · Acts as the point of contact for all HRIS reporting including state/federal compliance, ACA, franchisee, ad-hoc reports, as well as supporting HR initiatives (talent acquisition, retention, metrics, training, PTO, wellness programs, etc.)

    · Acts as the point of contact for all employee health and supplemental benefit inquiries, and coordinates with 3rd party benefit administration system to work through eligibility, carrier and census file issues, and enrollment periods.

    · Provides benefit administrative support related to COBRA notifications, state-specific benefit programs (SF City Option, Commuter, etc.), short-term disability claims, company scholarships, and employee relief fund.

    · Supports 401k administration by monitoring eligibility, auditing contributions/deduction discrepancies, answering employee inquiries related to enrollment, loans, and distributions, and assists in vendor audits, discrimination testing, and annual reporting (Form 5500).

    · Audits benefit enrollments vs payroll deductions quarterly to ensure accuracy of premiums, working with the payroll team to ensure deductions and arrears payments are up to date.

    · Completes monthly reconciliations of invoices and billing processes for all benefits vendors and coordinates with AP team to ensure accurate and timely payment.

    · Maintains database of benefit premiums, claims, and costs in self-funded benefit plans, and assists with new benefit plan proposals, broker data requests, vendor implementations, open enrollment processes, communications, and other special projects.

    · Completes compensation salary surveys, maintains a database of survey results, and performs compensation analysis and modeling.

    · May collaborate with the finance team on the annual performance review process, quarterly and annual bonus programs, annual budget process, and other compensation efforts.

    · Performs other projects and duties as assigned

    ESSENTIAL SKILL SETS:

    · Understanding of HRIS and benefit processes, data, reporting, and general system integrations, maintaining the strict confidentiality of sensitive information

    · Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

    · Exposure to process improvement and project management techniques/methods a plus

    · Ability to thrive in a complex, unstructured, and ambiguous environment

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    · 3-5 years of experience in HR technology and/or benefit analysis, reporting, and/or administration. Compensation experience a plus but not necessary.

    · Strong excel skills to include Pivot Tables, Formulas, and V-lookups required.

    · Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, human resources or other related field preferred, training/certification may be substituted for education.
