    Job Description

    The SALES SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR is responsible for performing a wide variety of customer service, administrative and data entry tasks related to repair and calibration of DTS products. This is a dynamic position requiring a combination of excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task as well as incorporating effective people skills.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES include, but not limited to:

    • Supports sales/customer service team members with quote generation and conversion of quotations to sales orders.
    • Coordinates customer product returns (RMA) for calibration, service and returns as needed.
    • Verify accuracy and consistency between customer purchase order and the sales order.
    • Coordinates with shipping and finance departments to ensure orders are processed and invoiced correctly.
    • Communicate daily, either by phone or email, with sales partners and end customers regarding status of sales orders.
    • Assists finance department in determining commission amounts to sales representatives.
    • Assists in managing demo equipment pool including coordinating delivery of demo gear, tracking locations, and timely return of items. Maintain accurate database of the demo equipment and current location of each item. Coordinate inspection/checkout of returned equipment
    • Reviews calendar daily for all shipping schedule of customers and dealers' orders.
    • Updates and maintains information in CRM (Salesforce) software
    • Assist in coordinating logistics for trade shows, sales meetings, and sales presentations.
    • Answer phone and provides administrative support to the sales department as needed.
    • Performs other related responsibilities and duties as requested by management.

    • High School Diploma or equivalent and previous experience (approximately 3-5 years) in an administrative position or the equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.  
    • AA degree in a related business discipline and/or previous experience in a sales support position is preferred.  Previous related experience in an electronics manufacturing environment is a plus.
    • Ability to effectively assist customers in a timely manner and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to a variety of individuals, are necessary.
    •  Demonstrated proficiency using various computer programs, such as with MS Windows 7/8/10, Microsoftâ Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint is necessary.  Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM is a plus.
    •  Demonstrated ability to appropriately address, analyze, and document detailed information, effectively manage multiple tasks and projects following up as needed, meet deadlines, and communicate/work effectively with other departments in a professional, diplomatic manner is necessary.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND EQUIPMENT USE

    This position works in an environment in which safety, environmental and health concerns may demand constant attention.  The work environment is a production and engineering area and typical business office.  The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and have the ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

    WORK SCHEDULE

    Work hours will be determined based on business and customer needs but are predominantly scheduled Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and at times could include overtime if necessary.
