Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is a fast-growing company that serves children and adolescents who experience behavioral health difficulties in a variety of settings. We currently have openings for a Bachelors level Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) position for the Community and School Based Behavioral Health Program (CSBBH) located at the Midd West School District. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting. The position roles and responsibilities will include: implementation of individualized interventions (under the supervision of a masters prepared professional), conduct observations of youth, tracks progress on treatment objectives, provides group and family sessions under the direction of the masters prepared professional, performs case management and crisis intervention functions (to include on-call responsibilities). BHT staff are part of a team who support youth in generalizing and practicing new learned skills with adults, participate in the schools process of identifying/screening youth in need of mental health intervention, actively support identified youth in their adherence to Midd West’s school wide positive behavioral support program through positive behavior intervention services, collaborate with teacher, family and caregivers, provide intervention services to youth in their home, school and community settings. BHT staff will also be responsible for the completion and adherence to all regulatory paperwork and documentation requirements.

This position is Monday through Friday with rotating on call responsibilities. Hours will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the kids and the families that the CSBBH team serves in all environments.
