    Job Title: Staff Pharmacist- Cannabis

    Position Overview:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our organization as a Staff Pharmacist for our Meriden Dispensary. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies while dispensing cannabis to medical patients. The position requires a strong understanding of cannabis products, their medical applications, and the ability to provide consultative services to patients.

    Responsibilities:.
    1. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies pertaining to the sale of cannabis products.

    2. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of cannabis, including new products, strains, and medical applications.

    3. Act as a resource for patients and healthcare professionals, providing consultative services and guidance on the use of cannabis products for medical purposes.

    4. Fulfill orders and open a register to assist with sales.

    5. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate care and treatment plans for patients using cannabis products.

    6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of cannabis inventory, sales, and patient information while complying with HIPAA regulations.

    7. Adhere to the highest standards of safety and security protocols to protect patients, staff, and assets.

    Qualifications:
    1. Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
    2. Valid pharmacist license in Connecticut
    3. Several years of experience working in a pharmacy setting.
    4. Strong knowledge and understanding of cannabis products, their medical benefits, and regulations/legalities surrounding their sale.
    5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively train, motivate, and lead a team.
    6. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    7. Proficient in using dispensary software and inventory management systems.
    8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    9. Understanding and adherence to strict confidentiality guidelines as per HIPAA regulations.
    10. Familiarity with state and local regulations governing the sale of cannabis products is a plus.
