Our mission is to provide support through employment, vocational training, and volunteer opportunities for our adults clients, by empowering them to reach their greatest potential through the independence of employment.

Divine is looking for competent Employment Mentor to help our Clients enhance their strengths and improve their job skills. You will be responsible to support our clients with guidance for career development or assistance in functioning in a workplace. As an employment Mentor you must be a mentor eager to support our clients and help them to reach their greatest potential and help each client to discover their strengths and weakness and support them by providing direction. Which requires you to have great communication skills partnered with critical thinking as a prerequisites. DUE TO COVID-19, WE ARE NOW PROVIDING: REMOTE (VIRTUAL)SERVICES, IN PERSON AT HOME SERVICES, AND 3X PER WEEK IN OFFICE 1 ON 1 SERVICES FOR OUR CLIENTS. BI-LINGUAL IS PERFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Complete all documentation in a timely manner, ie. Client Case notes, quarterly reports, timesheets, etc.

• Develop Effective Job coaching and employment plans

• Communicate with Clients to understand their personal goals and ambitions

• Help in the development of motivation and skills

• Assist consumer with development of social and life skills

• Monitor and evaluate progress of Clients

CANDIDATES REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma; or 6 months of experience

• Valid Drivers license and Vehicle Insurance from state of California

*Willingness to use personal transportation to transport Consumers in the commission of Work responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain current CPR and First Aid Certifications

• Must pass live Scan background Check

• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills

• Must have the ability to adapt and be flexible in services, changing procedures and environments.

• knowledge of the use of Virtual platforms such as Zoom, FaceTime, Video Calling, Mobile Apps and have WiFi Accessibility.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

This is a Fulltime Position Monday thru Thursday and possibly some Fridays (due to Client schedule) 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you feel that you are able to meet these requirements and fulfill the essential job functions of this position please apply now!
