  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead the strategy and implementation of clinical informatics across the North Texas Division

    • Support nursing and clinical teams in optimizing MEDITECH and other clinical systems

    • Design, evaluate, and enhance workflows to improve quality and operational efficiency

    • Collaborate with executive leaders across service lines to align health IT with organizational goals

    • Drive evidence-based practice through clinical technology adoption and protocol development

    • Develop training and implementation strategies that foster system ownership and engagement

    • Monitor EHR performance and utilization, providing actionable analytics to guide improvements

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines including Meaningful Use and EHR standards

    • Serve as executive sponsor for the Clinical Informatics Council and key division initiatives

    • Manage 10–12 direct reports and approximately 20 indirect team members

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Texas RN license (or multistate compact with plan to obtain TX RN license)

    • Master’s degree in Nursing, Health Informatics, or Business Administration (required)

    • At least 5 years of recent acute care Director-level or higher experience in Clinical Informatics

    • Proven leadership managing enterprise informatics projects and multidisciplinary teams

    • Deep expertise in MEDITECH and other clinical technologies

    • National Informatics certification (required within 6 months of hire)

    • Strong knowledge of workflow optimization, clinical systems integration, and data strategy
