Responsibilities: Investigate and collect case facts, documents, and evidence for attorney review • Gather, analyze, and organize key information to ensure attorneys have a complete and accurate understanding of each case. Organize and maintain digital case files, ensuring compliance with the firm’s standards • Keep client records and case files well-structured, accessible, and up to date using established systems and procedures. Conduct legal research, including case law, statutes, and judicial decisions, and provide detailed reports • Deliver concise, well-documented research to support attorneys in building strong legal arguments. Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, motions, affidavits, and correspondence with precision • Prepare polished, accurate documents that meet court requirements and reflect the highest professional standards. Manage discovery processes, including gathering evidence, coordinating subpoenas, and verifying information • Ensure thorough discovery by tracking deadlines, managing documentation, and confirming accuracy of all submissions. Prepare for trial by organizing exhibits, creating trial binders, and assisting attorneys in the courtroom • Provide seamless trial support to help attorneys present effectively and keep proceedings running smoothly. Ensure timely, accurate, and complete filings and service of legal documents • Monitor deadlines and court rules to guarantee filings and service are handled efficiently and correctly. Qualifications: • 4+ years of Family Law paralegal experience. • Knowledge of Minnesota state court rules and procedures. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Experience with MS Word and Excel. • Ability to work efficiently and interact in a positive manner with clients, attorneys, and staff while under pressure. • A professional demeanor is a must. Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000 yearly
