employee-owner of DKS! The successful candidate will work directly with
the Marketing Manager while also providing as-needed support to firmwide
marketing staff, Project Managers and Business Development Leaders. The
ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and
time management skills; is detailed oriented; and works effectively with
a variety of people to improve processes and procedures. What will you
be doing? * Coordinate and prepare proposals. * Coordinate and produce
interview materials. * Work with technical staff to ensure strategic
client interface with existing and targeted new clients is consistently
occurring. * Support corporate branding efforts, including website
articles, e-blasts, social media, template development, etc. * Support
the maintenance of marketing organizational systems and databases. *
Assist in the development of marketing collateral including the photo
library. * Identify, research and track project solicitations and leads.
- Support staff in other office locations as needed. * Collaborate with
teaming firms and subconsultants. * Participate in the Oakland SMPS
chapter. * Gain and maintain an understanding of firm practices and the
overall transportation engineering/planning profession. * Travel up to
20% as required. What are we looking for? * Minimum of two years A/E/C
experience producing custom proposals for state, municipal, federal and
other miscellaneous agencies. * BS or BA degree in Marketing,
Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred. *
Demonstrated ability to successfully work with a diverse team of
engineers and sub-consultants through the proposal preparation and
interview process. * Ability to display proposal information to
highlight points of differentiation while in compliance with RFP
requirements. * Experience creating customized content specific to the
nature and requirements of proposals. * Coordination of interview
preparation, providing effective feedback and coaching presenters for
improvement. * Strong written and oral communication skills. *
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office applications is
required. * Effective collaborative work style in a team environment. *
Self-motivated with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
and deadlines simultaneously. * Strong organizational skills with
