    Job Summary

    We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper and Office Manager to join our Marine Construction team. Are you highly organized with a knack for problem-solving in a fast-paced motivation? In this role, you will support the management team and perform all administrative duties, ensuring the workplace operates smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include,but not limited to, reconciling expenses, paying invoices, processing payroll, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office equipment. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to implement systems and procedures. This job requires office hours from 7 to 4.

    Responsibilities

    Manage office duties such as organizing filing systems, facilitating expense reports, and ordering office supplies

    Ensure basic Bookkeeping duties are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Duties will include but are not limited to, office budgeting, maintaining Accounts Payable and Receivable transactions and reconciliations.

    Maintain calendar of appointments and meetings

    Collaborate with CFO to create, update, and maintain office procedures

    Maintain office equipment in good working order with the assistance of the IT department

    Process payroll

    Execute other administrative duties as assigned by executives, including picking up orders, arranging personal appointments, and more

    Qualifications

    High school diploma/GED required, college preferred

    Possess a valid driver’s license, Insurance and able to pass a background check

    Two or more years of experience working as an Bookkeeper, Administrative Assistant, or in alternate position performing office manager duties

    Understanding of office equipment, systems, and procedures

    Skilled in Online Intuit QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook

    Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks independently.

    Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and verbal communication skills.

    Comfortable meeting deadlines and handling confidential information
