    JOB SUMMARY

    The Clinical Trainer will be responsible for the training of new and existing clinicians on DOD applications and workflow. They will collaborate cross functionally in the development of training materials, training content, and topics for on-going training. They will manage training documents and play a key role in clinician adoption of workflows and systems.  The Clinical Trainer will be responsible for maintaining a highly effective, efficient and professional training program for each of the clinician specialties within the medical and behavioral health practices.

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform day-to-day activities related to the training of new and existing clinicians on DOD EMR, applications and workflow

    • Collaborate cross functionally with clinical leadership, provider support, clinical operations and product/engineering to establish and maintain a training program meeting the objectives of each functional area

    • Develop processes to maximize clinician adoption of workflows and systems

    • Manage training material, including writing of new and revised training documents and creation and revision of training videos

    • Effectively communicate EMR and system updates/enhancements to the clinicians

    • Identify, prioritize and implement workflow and technology/product enhancements to improve training efficiencies and clinician readiness and satisfaction

    • Ensure a positive, professional and timely training experience for new clinicians

    REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

    • Comfortable presenting training material in a group setting

    • Knowledge of curriculum development and workflow analysis

    • Strong organization and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines 

    • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative is required.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface effectively cross functionally and with the medical practice

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment and able to quickly adapt to change

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Associates Degree or equivalent.

    • At least five years related experience required.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.

    • No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., picking up and computer / laptops) may be required.

    • Good manual dexterity required to use common office equipment (e.g., computers, laptop, and mobile devices).

    • May require business travel
