Document Accessibility Remediation Specialist / ADA & WCAG Compliance Analyst

Remote - Contract - Columbia, SC

Required:

7-12 years of experience in document accessibility testing and remediation

3+ years Microsoft Word WCAG 2.1 AA remediation (styles, headings, alt text, reading order)

3+ years PDF WCAG 2.1 AA remediation (tagging, logical structure, forms, links)

3+ years of experience with accessibility testing tools

Ability to research laws, analyze policies and procedures, and interpret complex regulations

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Problem-solving solutions to bring SCJB into compliance

Ability to collaborate with diverse teams across the organization

Proficiency with compliance management software and accessibility tools

Manage sensitive information and situations

Ability to train staff on creating compliant documents

Microsoft Word (styles, headings, alt text, reading order)

PDF (tagging, logical structure, forms, links)

Preferred Skills

Experience with court forms or orders

UX compliance

CPACC

IAAP ADS certification

Appropriate education and work experience accepted
