Document Control Specialist – COA / QA (Zing)
Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading GMP-regulated manufacturing company in the Boca Raton, FL area, is seeking a Document Control Specialist – COA / QA to join their Quality Assurance team! This is an exciting opportunity for a quality-focused professional with experience in GMP documentation, Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and batch record review to support product quality and compliance.
Document Control Specialist Job Summary:
Pay: $28-$30 an hour (Based on experience)
Location: Boca Raton, FL
Schedule: Monday-Friday
The Document Control Specialist – COA / QA is responsible for maintaining controlled quality documentation and supporting the creation and review of Certificates of Analysis (COAs) within a GMP manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include:
Generate and support the creation of Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for finished products
Review and verify laboratory testing documentation, batch records, and quality data
Ensure COAs meet product specifications and quality requirements before release
Maintain controlled documentation including:
SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
Work instructions
Specifications
COA templates and records
Manage document revisions, approvals, issuance, and archival processes
Perform document reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Support QA teams with internal, customer, and regulatory audits
Maintain audit-ready documentation systems
Collaborate with Quality Control, Production, and Regulatory teams to ensure documentation accuracy and product release readiness
Document Control Specialist Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Quality, or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment preferred
Experience creating or reviewing Certificates of Analysis (COAs)
Experience reviewing batch records and quality documentation
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Experience with document control systems such as Master Control, Track Wise, SharePoint, or similar platforms preferred
Ability to work cross-functionally with QA, QC, Production, and Regulatory teams
