    Global Impact Group LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and ISO 9001 / ISO 17100 certified provider of interpretation and translation services. We deliver multilingual support to federal, state, and local agencies across 80+ languages. We are expanding our translation team under a new USCIS contract and seeking full-time Document Translators to process sensitive immigration-related materials with accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.

    Responsibilities

    Translate official USCIS documents (immigration records, forms, evidence submissions) with 100% accuracy.

    Maintain terminology consistency in line with USCIS glossaries and standards.

    Proofread and review translations for clarity, grammar, and completeness.

    Handle urgent and high-volume assignments while meeting deadlines.

    Collaborate with quality assurance (QA) staff to ensure compliance with ISO 17100 standards.

    Adhere to USCIS protocols regarding confidentiality, privacy, and data security.

    Support expedited requests when needed (24–48 hours turnaround).

    Qualifications

    Fluency in English and at least one target language (priority: Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, Russian, Haitian Creole; rare languages highly valued).

    Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field.

    2+ years of professional translation experience (government, legal, or immigration sector preferred).

    ATA certification or equivalent credentials strongly preferred.

    Familiarity with CAT tools and secure translation platforms.

    Must be able to pass a Tier 3 or Tier 5 federal background investigation.

    U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency required.
