Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Process & Documentation Specialist to join our HR Operational Risk team. This role is critical in designing, documenting, and optimizing HR processes to support compliance and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of HR risk management, process documentation best practices, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, document, and implement HR operational processes that support efficiency, consistency, and compliance.
Partner with HR, risk, and compliance stakeholders to evaluate current processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
Create clear and accessible documentation including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process maps using tools such as Visio , Adobe , and SharePoint.
Maintain documentation libraries on SharePoint, ensuring materials are accurate, current, and easily accessible to relevant users.
Support the HR Risk Officer and team leads in coordinating process improvement initiatives and related projects.
Assist in the execution of process audits, risk evaluations, and readiness assessments to ensure regulatory alignment and adherence to internal controls.
Develop presentation and training materials (“roadshow decks”) to communicate new processes and tools to HR teams and promote adoption of best practices.
Monitor regulatory trends and industry developments in operational risk to proactively adjust HR documentation and processes as needed.
Help align process documentation with enterprise risk frameworks, ensuring integration with KPIs, KRIs, and control measures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
5–10 years of relevant experience in process documentation, analysis, and development—ideally in an HR or risk environment.
Strong understanding of operational and enterprise risk management principles.
Advanced proficiency in SharePoint , Adobe Acrobat/Pro , and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear documentation.
Team-oriented with a proven ability to collaborate across departments and functions.
Preferred/Desirable Qualifications:
Certification in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean , Six Sigma ).
Prior experience within an HR operations or HR risk & compliance environment.
