Position Summary
The Documentation and Registration Specialist is a member of the Foreign Investor Registration and Documentation (FIRD) Team within the Network Management Department. The FIRD Team manages market investment approval and account opening processes for markets requiring foreign investor registration and/or documentation to open cash and securities accounts or access preferential tax treatment.
Team members liaise with BBH client servicing groups, external clients, and subcustodian providers to ensure clients complete market requirements efficiently and on time.
The Documentation Specialist supports team members with documentation processing, database maintenance, and general departmental functions. This role requires high initiative, strong organizational skills, accuracy, and excellent client service capabilities.
Principal Responsibilities
Foreign Investor Registration/Processing:
Maintain database reflecting current market registration approvals and account opening processes.
Produce cover letters and shipping materials as required.
Prepare documentation for submission to subcustodians and local markets, including copying, faxing, and scanning.
Maintain team files and Registration Kits on BBH website.
Perform account reconciliations, projects, and related duties as requested.
Additional Responsibilities:
Other duties as assigned to support the FIRD team and departmental goals.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Education & Experience:
BA/BS degree or 1–2 years equivalent experience preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
Ability to prioritize a heavy workload and work under pressure while consistently meeting deadlines.
Work quickly and accurately under pressure.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Willingness to work non-standard hours when necessary.
