_POSITION SUMMARY

Dodge Construction Network (DCN) is looking for a Vice President (VP), Sales who will be a key member of the sales leadership team. The VP will lead the new logo team with a focus on strategy, customer acquisition, revenue growth, and quota achievement. Additionally, the VP will use their SaaS leadership experience to drive overall business strategies related to local, regional, and national level accounts.
This position reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.
LOCATION
For this position, we are open to a remote US candidate, however frequent travel to the Northeast can be expected.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee our SaaS growth strategy and drive sales and revenue expansion in a scalable and predictable way
- Establish territories, quotas, goals, and other strategies for achieving revenue goals and maximizing results
- Work with the sales team in closing deals, spot issues and proactively address them to ensure a successful sale on optimal terms
- Identifies and develops appropriate individual sales plans to meet revenue goals; responsible for ensuring maximum sales volume of services
- Create accountability within the team by developing appropriate metrics and coordinating compensation and promotions with these metrics
- Standardize sales methodologies for current and future sales using tech-forward processes
- Evaluate talent in an ongoing capacity and outline clear parameters and process for training and development of incumbent and future talent
- Refines and/or creates new systems, processes, and infrastructure to support the GTM strategy
- Implement process adoption of new sales enablement tools, techniques, and operating procedures
- Participate in executive team planning for overall business strategies
- Establish high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting approaches used by the sales, marketing, and finance teams
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales with a focus on hunter roles and new customer acquisition & pipeline growth
- 5+ years of SaaS sales leadership, GTM, and analytics experience in a high-growth environment required
- Superior ability to analyze complex data set and turn into actionable and meaningful directives to drive revenue outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to manage revenue leaders directly to implement strategic direction
- Outstanding track record of success managing enterprise accounts and opportunities to closure, consistent over-attainment of annual quotas of $25 million or more in annual revenue
- Strong experience in high-velocity businesses environment required
- Experience hiring for high performance SaaS teams
- Experience working within an Objectives and Key Results (OKR) driven framework to support the GTM strategies
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with proven ability to use a deep understanding of business metrics to drive outcomes
- Process-oriented, with the ability to simplify, automate, and improve team effectiveness through process improvements
- Demonstrated strong leadership and communication skills, and a solid foundation in the general oversight of growth focused teams
- Proven ability to influence with Organizational Intelligence, Team Promotion, Building Trust, and Leveraging Relationships
- Proven ability to develop positive relationships through “open door” communications at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated experience of successfully rolling out new product and has been a part of company integration cycles
- Proven ability to act independently, exercise judgment and influence people to take appropriate actions
- Excellent organizational skills; Possess ability to “multi-task” while also reassessing priorities on a continual basis
- Proven presentation and training experience as well as group facilitation
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
