ABOUT THE ROLE:  

We are searching for a Regional Researcher who will be responsible for identifying and monitoring project opportunities, research sources, and news in an assigned region, and determining what information is valid and worthy of being published to clients. 

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) operating on an alternative work schedule (9 hours/day Monday-Thursday and 4 hours on Friday) located in San Diego, CA. 

 WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

• Contact public agencies to obtain and/or verify advance project notice information via phone calls and emails. 
• Write and submit for publication Advance Notices in a standard IMS format. 
• Track and update existing Advance Notices/updates from the assigned region as needed. 
• Obtain, document, and publish awarded contract information for the assigned region. 
• Research leads from relevant newspaper articles and submits at least ten (10) appropriate articles weekly for the IMS database.  
• Manage all sources of solicitations, primary documents, and agency websites for the assigned region. 
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in the IMS database for use by the entire research team.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

_THE REGIONAL RESEARCHER MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN A CUSTOMER SERVICE/SALES SUPPORT/ ADMINISTRATIVE ROLE IN ADDITION TO:  _

• Exceptional communication skills 
• Ability to multi-task  
• Exemplary decision making, problem-solving and organizational skills  
• Excellent internet research skills  
• Proficiency in desktop software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)  
• Aptitude for learning new software 
• Adaptability for learning job responsibilities and processes 
• Experience with the Architectural/ Engineering/ construction industry is a plus 
• A college degree is preferred.
