Integrated Marketing Systems (IMS), a Dodge Data & Analytics Company, (http://www.imsinfo.com) is a nationally recognized research firm that offers Architectural, Engineering and Construction firms critical information they need to pursue current and upcoming public-sector projects.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

IMS is currently looking to hire an INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE who will be responsible for conducting lead generation, selling new accounts, and providing account management to prospective clients.

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) operating on an alternative work schedule (9 hours/day Monday-Thursday and 4 hours on Friday).

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Researching A/E/C firms that provide services which match IMS' coverage areas
• Identifying relevant contacts and/or decision-makers within organizations
• Introducing firms to IMS' service, identifying the needs of A/E/C firms, and responding strategically to objections
• Maintaining contact with potential clients during the trial period to assist them in understanding how the service/product can meet their business development needs Meeting internal sales goals
• Creating and maintaining documentation of work steps taken and information gathered in the IMS database.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

• Internet research skills and experience are a must.
• Communication skills, both verbal and written, must be very good to excellent.
• Cold calling
• Organization and time management
• A high school diploma is required. A college degree is preferred.
• Sales: 1-year minimum - 2+ years is preferred.
• Knowledge of the A/E/C industry is a plus, but job-specific training will be provided
