We are in the heart of Midtown providing progressive methods and standards for canines and handlers alike, for the past 20+ years We are a high-volume salon using state of the art equipment, products, tools, and methods. Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced bather for our high-volume salon to join our team! Bathers are an integral member to our team, providing the most important service in the salon. You will bathe, dry, fluff and finish dogs to our terms. There will be a variety of behaviors, breeds, coat types, and various bodily fluids present. If you are patient, dependable, have a passion for dogs and possess quality time-management skills, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Always ensure safety of dogs

Attentiveness to dogs and team member’s needs.

Adhere to strict sanitary and cleaning procedures.

Maintain neat workspace through service.

Clean pet messes as they present themselves.

Prep, bathe and finish dogs.

Thorough bathing, drying, and finishing techniques.

Trimming and filing nails, ear cleaning

Anal gland expression

Assist team and other staff when/where needed.

Qualifications

Acute diligence to detail

Familiarity of breeds, body language and fur/hair types

Ability to learn facility software.

Time management

Ability to work under pressure without sacrificing quality of service.

Conflict Resolution - Ability to manage conflict with tact and diplomacy.

Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.

Athleticism and the ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Ability to work a flexible schedule such as holidays and weekends.

Ability to take direction and apply it independently.

Ability to work in temperature extremes and distracting work environments such as loud noise/sound.
