Job Summary The Dog Stop ® is in need of enthusiastic Dog Bather. You will bathe dogs of all sizes and temperaments to ensure they look their best. Bathes is offered seven days a week, so weekends are a requirement, and applicants should be willing to work 5 days per week. Additional responsibilities may include cleaning kennels, brushing, and trimming nails. If you are reliable, have great time management skills, and have a love for dogs, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Prepare dogs for grooming

Bathe dogs and provide other cleaning and grooming services such as ear and teeth cleaning

Adhere to strict sanitary and cleaning procedures

Ensure the safety of the dogs at all times

Clean kennels or bathing areas, as required

Walk-in nail trims and gland expression

Customer relations – develop relationships with clientele and their dogs.

Managing busy bathing schedules and communicating progress to receptionists and groomers.

Qualifications

Comfortable working with all breeds of dogs

Ability to stand for long periods and lift large dogs

Attention to detail

Team player

Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and dog owners
