    Dogtopia of Golden Valley, the industry leader in dog daycare, boarding, and spa services has an opening for an energetic, organized, professional, animal-loving individual to join and lead our team as a Full-time or Part-time shift leader. This is a key role within our business and we work hard to deliver top customer service and ensure a great environment for the dogs in our care. And you also get to bring your dog to work!

    Applicant must be available for shift times from 6:30am to 2pm or 12pm to 7:30pm as well as some weekends.

    Job Description

    Administrative work

    Checking customers in/out and collecting payment

    Give tours of the facility

    Answer phone calls and emails

    Properly communicate information to customers

    Multitasking is critical!

    Operational work

    Occasionally work and constantly monitor playrooms to maintain a safe level of play for dogs in an open play environment

    Monitor canine coaches to ensure proper protocols are being followed consistently

    Training and teaching our standards to new and existing employees for the animals

    Cleaning the playrooms, spa, and facility

    Desired skills and experience

    1+ years in a leadership role

    Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment!

    Communication skills

    Customer service skills

    Leadership and teamwork skills

    Ability to maintain a positive attitude through adversity

    Computer skills - proficient in microsoft products and basic computer operations

    What you get

    Hourly pay range at $16-$18/hour
