Paw Oasis Pet Resort is hiring a Dog Daycare Supervisor to join our growing team at our luxury boarding and daycare facility in The Colony. About Us: Paw Oasis Pet Resort is a luxury dog boarding and doggy daycare center that opened a new location in The Colony in August 2021. This location is new, including 30,000 square feet of dog turf, over 100 luxury boarding accommodations, and a fancy bone-shaped pool just for the dogs! If you love animals and are willing to work hard and commit to providing excellent customer service to our guests and their owners. We are hiring two Supervisors for our Castle Hills location, in The Colony! The Pet Care Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and service within our pet resort. This position is responsible for daily hands-on training and coaching of staff in accordance with Dog Gurus' play group management methods and the company’s Standard Operating Procedures across Daycare, Boarding, and Bathing departments. The Supervisor leads by example, working alongside the team to ensure all animal care tasks—from feeding and medication to bathing and play group management—are executed with excellence. This role oversees the daily operations of the facility, including opening and closing duties, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, and supporting front desk procedures such as check-in and check-out. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for animal welfare while also delivering exceptional service to pet owners. Responsibilities: • Train staff daily in Daycare to our Dog Gurus' play group management lessons • Train staff daily to our Standard Operating Procedures for Daycare, Boarding, and Bathing • Train and coach on standards for feeding and medication for all animals • Train and coach to company's standards for dog bathing services for dogs • Supervise and manage a team of Pet Care staff, opening and closing independently of a manager • Ensure the health and well-being of all animals in the kennel • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards with proper training and coaching of staff • Hands-on to complete all tasks with fellow employees to achieve day-to-day goals • Provide customer service to pet owners, including answering inquiries and addressing concerns • Front Desk check-in / check-out procedures Qualifications: • Previous experience working in a dog daycare required for 2 + years in a leadership role • Previous experience completing Knowing Dogs by the Dog Gurus (play group management software) • Training and coaching of fellow employees for 2 + years • Strong leadership and management skills of 2 + years • Ability to handle heavy lifting, as some animals may require assistance • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners • Knowledge of animal behavior and basic medical care for animals • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Compensation: $15 - $18 hourly
