About the Role:

WagMore Animal Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Dog Daycare and Boarding Attendant to join our team in St. Charles, MO! If you have a passion for animals and love spending your days surrounded by wagging tails, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor dogs during daycare play sessions to ensure safe and positive interactions

Provide attentive care for boarded dogs, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed

Maintain clean and sanitary kennel, play area, and facility environments through regular cleaning and disinfecting

Assess dog behavior and temperament to ensure compatibility during group play

Communicate daily updates and observations to pet owners and veterinary staff

Assist with dog handling, bathing, and basic grooming as needed

Follow established safety protocols and animal handling procedures at all times

Requirements:

Genuine love for dogs and experience working with or caring for animals

Ability to read and respond to dog body language and behavior cues

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle dogs of all sizes and breeds

Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal safety and well-being

Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Previous experience in a kennel, veterinary, or pet care setting is a plus
