Job Title: Guest Experience Associate / Office Manager / Marketing & Social Media Expert Location: Wixom, MI Facility: It’s A Dog’s Life Resort & Spa - Dog Boarding, Daycare, Enrichment Services, and Spa & Grooming Compensation Range: $13.50/hr. - $17.50/hr. DOE Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Client Services Representative to join our team at It’s A Dog’s Life Resort & Spa. This position is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our clients and their furry companions. The ideal candidate will manage client check-ins and check-outs, handle financial transactions, and support our sales and marketing efforts. If you are passionate about animals and have a knack for customer service, we want to hear from you! Essential Responsibilities:
Client Check-In/Check-Out.
Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional manner.
Efficiently check dogs in and out of the facility, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and accurate.
Upsell our services and products.
Gingr (POS) data integrity supervision.
Financial Management: reconcile cash drawer and balance.
Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions with accuracy.
Reconcile daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
Client Services: ability to have conversations with our clients.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Sales & Marketing
Actively promote and upsell services and products to clients, including daycare, grooming, and enrichment services.
Manage social media accounts and oversee website content to ensure accurate and engaging information is presented.
Capture high-quality photographs of pets during their stay for marketing purposes.
Event Coordination
Spearhead marketing events and promotions to attract new clients and engage existing ones.
Manage birthday celebrations, dogs that pass over the rainbow bridge and other notices.
Collaborate with local vendors and veterinary partners to enhance service offerings and community presence.
Facility Maintenance Management: oversee repairs and maintenance efforts.
Facility cleaning as defined daily.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional business or animal care education is a plus
Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field, preferably in the pet care industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Proficient in cash handling and financial reconciliation
Basic knowledge of social media platforms and marketing strategies
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Passion for animals and a commitment to providing excellent care and service
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, Canva, and Gingr (Pet Point of Sale), which are huge pluses
Basic photography / video skills
Basic bookkeeping duties
Excellent phone manners
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
