We're Interviewing Now — Hiring When We Open
A new dog grooming shop is opening in Whitestone, Queens under new ownership. We're currently in the NYC permit approval process and interviewing groomers in advance so we can hit the ground running on day one.
What that means for you:
- We won't make formal offers until our NYC grooming permit is approved and the shop is cleared to open.
- If we love you in the interview, we'll keep you warm, stay in touch, and bring you on as soon as we're cleared.
- We'll be transparent about the timeline — no stringing anyone along.
If you're currently employed and just starting to look around, this is a great fit. You don't have to make a move until we're real.
What You'll Do
- Bath, brush, dry, and full-groom dogs of all sizes and breeds

- Communicate clearly with owners about coat condition, behavior notes, and any concerns
- Keep your station clean, sanitized, and fully stocked
- Handle dogs calmly and safely — including the occasional grumpy senior or anxious puppy
What You DON'T Have to Worry About
- Booking, scheduling, software, or check-in / check-out — we handle all of that
- Marketing or finding clients — we run the ads, you get a steady stream of pets
- Front-of-house or register work
- Ordering supplies or inventory
Your job is simple: do your best work and communicate well. We handle everything else.

- Workers' comp + disability if you get hurt on the job or off
- Real pay stubs — makes renting, financing a car, or getting a mortgage actually possible
