Who We Are Looking For: We are searching for a compassionate dog groomer who loves to groom dogs! A successful Dog Groomer is knowledgeable and patient. We are looking for a motivated groomer to join our growing team with a path to advancement to Lead Groomer.

This Dog Groomer position requires:

At least two years of grooming experience, or graduation from a grooming school

Knowledge of dog breeds, care standards, and the tools of the trade

Strength to lift up to 70 pounds and stamina to stand for long periods

Reliable transportation

Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment

Tasks:

Groom to Scenthound standards—the puppy cut: one length all over with a neat face

Help create an environment of learning, open communication, and teamwork

Ensure the safety of dogs and team members at all times

Follow Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices

Take on other tasks as assigned by the Scenter Manager

Skills and Abilities:

Clear communication with team members and dog parents

Strong problem-solving and attention to detail

Solid time management

Ability to self-critique and hold yourself—and your team—to high grooming standards
