We’re an established, laid back and fun cage-free doggie daycare and boarding facility looking for hard working, dependable and motivated folks to join our team. Our facility is small but in demand. We boast a 24-hr supervised facility, so at least one overnight shift per week is available where you’re allowed to sleep and get paid! Our on-the-job training will help establish you in the Kennel Tech field as you learn how to read dog behaviors and how best to handle them. Opportunities for advancement into management exist as we are a company that prefers to promote from within.

Supervise and interact with dogs in a safe and engaging manner (indoors and out) in both small and large playgroups.

Monitor dog behavior and report any concerns to management.

Assist with bathing and nail trims as needed.

Ensure all safety protocols are followed during playtime and activities.

Communicate effectively with pet owners about their dog's day.

    Requirements:

Passion for animals and experience working with dogs preferred.

Comfortable around a broad range of dog sizes and breeds (we take all breeds)

Positive, calm, trustworthy, dedicated and dependable

Capable of multitasking with a niche for seeing and handling problems without direct supervision

Have reliable transportation to work and be punctual

Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to cleanliness and safety.

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Basic knowledge of dog behavior and care practices.

    Pass a background check

Graduate of high school or equivalent

Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance

Ability to move around for long periods of time (most shifts average at least 6 hours)

Must be a team player and willing to learn.
