About the Role:

Michigan Dog Training Inc. is looking for a passionate and skilled Dog Trainer to join our team in Plymouth, MI! Responsibilities:

Conduct individual and group dog training sessions using positive reinforcement techniques

Assess dog behavior and develop customized training plans for each client

Educate pet owners on training methods, commands, and behavioral management

Track and document client and dog progress throughout training programs

Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming training environment

Build strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention

Stay current on best practices in animal behavior, obedience training, and canine psychology

Requirements:

Prior experience in dog training, animal behavior, or a related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client education

Ability to handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments safely

Patient, calm, and confident demeanor in high-energy environments

Reliable, punctual, and professional with a genuine passion for animals
