About the Role:

Join Michigan Dog Training Inc. as a Dog Trainer and help transform the lives of dogs and their owners! In this exciting role, you will utilize your skills to train and socialize dogs of all breeds in a supportive and engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct individual and group training sessions for dogs of various breeds and temperaments

Develop customized training programs based on the needs of each dog and owner

Teach basic obedience commands and advanced training techniques

Monitor and assess dog behavior and progress throughout training

Provide guidance and support to dog owners to reinforce training at home

Maintain a safe and positive training environment

Stay updated on the latest training techniques and dog behavior research

Collaborate with a team of passionate dog trainers and staff

Requirements:

Proven experience as a dog trainer or in a related field

Strong understanding of dog behavior and training techniques

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Certification from a recognized dog training organization is a plus

Ability to work with various dog breeds and temperaments

Passion for animal welfare and commitment to positive reinforcement methods

Strong problem-solving skills and patience

Willingness to continue education in dog training and behavior
