Job Summary

We are seeking a Dog Walker and Handler to join our team! As a Dog Walker, you will be picking up dogs from their homes, getting them ready, and taking them for a walk on various routes, for a designated amount of time. You will be responsible for keeping the dog safe during your walk, cleaning up after them, and ensuring they are having a great time while being safe. The ideal candidate has experience working with dogs of many sizes and breeds, can work outside in a variety of temperatures and seasons, and has excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Greet dogs, get them ready, and ensure they are properly dressed (harness, collar, etc) and safely secured

Walk dogs for the designated time over various routes

Clean up after any dogs in your care and properly dispose of waste

Keep dogs and people safe by having control over dogs at all times and following company protycols

Use common sense and best dog walking practices to ensure dogs are safe and healthy while in your care

Send pictures and a written report to client through our companies software system

Qualifications

Experience working with dogs of multiple breeds and sizes desired

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Reliable transportation to and from client's homes

Reliable smart phone with data plan and an understanding of software systems

The ability to walk several miles each day in a variety of weather conditions

Basic knowledge of dog safety
