Job description
Job Title: Doggy Daycare Attendant
Location: Oceanside, CA
Company: DogSpot
You must be available for weekends on this position
PLEASE SUBMIT A COVER LETTER WITH DOG EXPERIENCE WHEN APPLYING.
We are a very active cage-free doggy daycare in Oceanside looking for the right individual to join our team. We are an indoor facility and your responsibility will be monitoring all dogs and cleaning up after them (AT A FAST PACE). This is not a job for someone that wants to babysit and hold the dogs as we are active and you are moving quickly throughout your shift along with the dogs.
We are looking for someone with experience in the K9 field. You must be able to read dogs and know how to confidently handle them in a large group setting. People who are self-motivated and have the ability to multi-task will do very well in this position. We are very interactive with the dogs so we run alongside them, throwing balls for them to fetch and keeping them engaged throughout the day. If you have prior knee or back issues this is not the right job for you as you are walking fast or jogging, always on the move with the dogs. This position requires a LOT of bending over quickly to pick up messes before the dogs can get to them.

Must be Passionate about dogs;

Must be able to work in a loud environment (dogs barking al day);
Must feel comfortable working in a very active/energetic position - Our attendants do not stand around as with other doggy daycares. We serve as the dogs' alpha/pack leader running around with them, throwing balls and keeping the dogs moving. Our attendants closely supervise the dogs by constantly moving, maintaining a clear line of vision and close proximity;
