Job Summary

We are seeking an afternoon and weekend Dog Daycare Store Manager to join our team! As a manager, you will spend your days managing the location, interacting with pet parents and supervising our canine coaches (our coaches are supervising the dogs in open play daycare and boarding). You will be responsible for ensuring profitability, growth and retaining customers and employees. One key aspect is providing tours to new customers and encouraging them to purchase weekly plans. Dog and Coach safety is our #1 goal along with a super clean and enjoyable environment for the pups. You will be leading the team and rolling up your sleeves to help get the job done.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with all types of dogs, can work on their feet for long periods of time, and can work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Greet all customers daily providing positive feedback about their dogs

Sell customers on the value of dog daycare and the Dogtopia differentiators

Manage team of 3-4 canine coaches; ensuring safety and cleanliness for the dogs and coaches

Accurately check customers in and out of services using our Dogtopia systems: Petexec, Dashboard, Orangebook

Manage the lead to customer process accurately, timely and efficiently

Conduct in-store marketing events

Post daily on Instagram, Facebook, TicToc and other services pictures of dogs having fun in daycare

other duties as assigned

Qualifications

1 year minimum experience managing dog daycare or similar business

Excellent software system skills

Excellent front desk/customer service skills, including written and verbal communications

Social media skills for Instagram, Facebook and other platforms

Must be comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and types

Must be comfortable working on your feet for long periods of time

Strong skills with Microsoft Office suite
