    Job Description

    THIS LISTING HAS 2 OPEN POSITIONS BASED OUT OF SEDALIA, COLORADO AND RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA.

    Reporting to the Branch Manager, this is a business development/ sales account manager role responsible for securing and overseeing major infrastructure accounts to include projects such as bridges, tunnels, water treatment plants are a plus.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Target and focus on major Infrastructure projects and key customers in the entire USA that have potential for quality profitable revenue and will create or strengthen relationships that are in line with our business.
    • Achieve the company objectives for revenue in accordance with rental rate, discount and profitability guidelines by providing a complete focus on managing the sales process for major Infrastructure projects.
    • Develop and execute specific strategies for major Infrastructure projects and key customers that highlight the added value/customer benefits that Doka has to offer and puts Doka in the best position to secure the projects.
    • Maximize utilization of existing of available standard inventory while profitably increasing revenue.
    • Ensure active involvement in potential Infrastructure projects at the early stage in the sales process to steer the design and customer perceptions to Doka products.
    • Manage a sales tracking funnel of potential quotes and awarded projects.
    • Develop and maintain a customer/project database that contains all the names, addresses & actual phone numbers of actual and prospective accounts as well as all of the names of the officers, key office and field personnel that represent these customers/projects.
    • Work closely with Account Managers in each Area/Branch in a team scenario from pre bid through project award.
    • Actively involved, as assigned, in major contractor/industry organizations as company representative.
    • Proactively communicates clearly and collaborates support resources in sales, engineering and operations.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor Degree preferred.
    • 5-7 years sales/account management experience with major project and account sales experience within the concrete forming industry or related construction equipment industry. Experience with Infrastructure projects such as bridges, tunnels, water treatment plants are a plus.
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, follow-up, closing and negotiation skills.
    • Qualitative abilities including strong analytical skills, technical proficiency and effective selling and problem-solving skills.
    • Able to read and interpret blueprints.
    • Excellent communication skills including an excellent command of English (speaking, reading, writing)
    • Extremely motivated, assertive, team player with a strong work ethic, able to work independently in a results-driven, fast-paced environment.

    PROBLEM SOLVING

    This position requires the ability to support the sales function within the Infrastructure Team and at times in the customer environment, solving design and field problems on short notice with minimal information.

    COMMUNICATION

    Extensive daily interaction with internal colleagues, management and customers.

    MENTAL EFFORT

    Position requires the ability to work in an organized manner, in a fast-paced environment and manage time to meet deadlines. Willing to work a flexible work schedule. 

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Working conditions vary from that of an office environment: dry, cool, well lighted, to outside conditions (equipment yard or job site), high noise level in certain areas, extreme outdoor temperatures.

    TRAVEL

    Willing to travel to participate in team presentations as needed.
