    TRI POINTE HOMES ORANGE COUNTY-LOS ANGELES IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED, ENTHUSIASTIC INDIVIDUAL TO JOIN OUR TALENTED GROUP AS AN OPTIONS COORDINATOR IN OUR OFFICE.

     

    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: The Options Coordinator will compile and maintain records of business transactions and office activities for options and/or purchasing department while supporting the department leadership and others as needed.

     

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Build and Maintain online option catalogs through JD Edwards (e1) and Envision
    • Coordinate, negotiate and purchase all model upgrades and sales office construction work
    • Ensure all Model Discounts are received and logged per project
    • Create, maintain, and distribute Model Matrix in which Designer Plans are organized for Construction Manager and Trade Partners
    • Ensure appropriate “Living Smart” options are included in the models and offered to buyers
    • Participate in various walks (Frame, Drywall, Model) throughout the Model
    • Lead Model Walks with Sales, Designers, and Purchasing Agents – calling out various standard and option features within each home
    • Maintain cut off dates by project and phase for all option stages as trench dates are finalized
    • Train Option Coordinators as required
    • File signed Purchase Orders
    • Update product feature lists
    • Provides support to Options Manager, Purchasing Agents/Director, other managers, senior management and other departments as needed
    • Investigates, researches and resolves problem billing and/or missing paperwork for trade partners
    • Performs routine clerical and administrative functions to include answering phones, taking messages, copying, filing, faxing, etc
    • Regular contact with Options Manager, Purchasing Agents / Director, Marketing Staff, Field Office Staff, Superintendents, Subcontractors and other Purchasing Staff
    • Required to be “On Call” two Saturdays per month for Design Center/Designer questions
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • High School Diploma required
    • Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in the home construction industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
    • Strong computer skills required
    • Understanding and familiarity with Enterprise-One, Envision and Hyphen Solutions preferred
    • Ability to read and interpret house plans and understand architecturally supported options, non-structural option programs and option relationships preferred
    • Must have a strong work ethic and professional attitude
    • Strong documentation and follow-up skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with high quality results

    MINIMUM EDUCATION

    • Graduate from an Approved Respiratory Therapy School.

    REQUIRED LICENSES [Kentucky, United States] Respiratory Therapists

    • Must hold current license by the state of Kentucky as a Respiratory Care Practitioner

    • Proven strong clinical skills and strong communication skills.
