GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Fresh Pack Finance intern will learn and document financial workflow processes and complete data flow mapping. The intern will work in conjunction with the Fresh Pack Finance team and aid with various department functions and tasks.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION

Assist Finance Department staff and managers with various duties to include but not limited to:

• Profit & Loss (P&L) Transitions
• Data flow mapping and process documentation
• Aid with development of reporting packages/models
• Consolidation of data
• Financial reporting special projects
• Work with large datasets and spreadsheets
• Assist the Financial Analysts
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

• Beginner to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of basic General Ledger Accounting
• High level of attention to detail

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL RELATIONS

• INTERNAL: Accounting and Finance team
• EXTERNAL: N/A

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

• Current 2020 Fall junior or senior working towards a bachelor’s degree in or concentration of accounting or finance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, ability to sit for long periods of time.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED

• Desktop computer

WORK HOUR REQUIREMENT

• Approximate 15- 20 hour workweek, no overtime expected. Hours flexible.
• Part-time paid internship. No housing assistance provided.
